Invite your team & understand roles
Add teammates as owner, admin, tech, or viewer — and control whether technicians see job pricing.

FieldOps has four roles, and the walls between them are enforced everywhere — pages, the API, and the database itself.
- Owner — everything, including billing, payments setup, and security settings.
- Admin — day-to-day office: jobs, customers, quotes, invoices, payments, scheduling, settings.
- Tech — sees only their assigned jobs. No access to quotes, invoices, payments, the price book, other customers, or company settings.
- Viewer — read-only.
- 1Open Team and click Invite.
- 2Enter their email and pick a role — they get an email link to join your workspace.
- 3Seats depend on your plan: Starter includes 2 (a hard cap), Pro 8 and Max 15, each expandable at $8/mo per extra seat.
By default techs never see dollar amounts — job price, material costs, and margins are hidden at the database level. If you want your crew to see pricing, flip "Show job pricing to technicians" in Settings → Company. Either way, the assigned tech can still collect payment on their job.
