Time tracking & timesheets

Techs clock in and out on the job page; the Timesheets report turns those hours into a payroll-ready CSV.

Updated Jul 30, 2026

Every job page has a Clock In button for the people working it — the owner included. Entries feed job costing and the payroll report automatically.

  1. 1On the job, tap Clock In when work starts. The button flips to Clock Out with a running timer.
  2. 2Tap Clock Out when done — the entry is saved with who, when, and how long.
  3. 3Forgot to clock out? Clocking in on the next job closes the previous entry automatically, and marking a job Completed clocks you out of it too.
  4. 4The job's Time Tracking card lists every entry; owners and admins can delete a bad one.

For payroll, open Reports → Timesheets: pick a week (or any date range), see hours by technician and by day, and export a CSV with one row per shift plus per-tech totals — ready to paste into your payroll sheet.

Tracked hours also sharpen the Profitability report — when a job has real clocked time, labor cost uses it instead of the estimate.
