Reminders, quote follow-ups & review requests

Three automations that run themselves: appointment reminders, quote follow-ups, and review requests — by email today, SMS coming soon.

Updated Jul 30, 2026

These three run without anyone remembering to press a button. All are opt-in per company. Appointment reminders and quote follow-ups are in Settings → Notifications; review requests have their own Settings → Review requests tab. They send over email today — SMS joins automatically once carrier registration is live.

  • Appointment reminders — the day before a scheduled visit, the customer gets a reminder with the date and time (or the arrival window, if you set one). Multi-visit jobs remind per visit. Never sends twice for the same visit.
  • Quote follow-ups — a quote that's been sent but not answered gets a polite nudge with the quote link after a few days, and one final reminder after that. You choose both timings; follow-ups stop the moment the customer responds.
  • Review requests — when a job is marked Completed, the customer gets a "How did we do?" email with your Google review link. Once per job, and never more than once per customer every 90 days, so repeat clients aren't pestered.
  1. 1Open Settings → Notifications.
  2. 2Toggle on receipts, appointment reminders, or quote follow-ups, then Save notification settings.
  3. 3Open Settings → Review requests to set your Google review link and optional message. Check the sample preview, then Save review settings. The preview never sends an email.
  4. 4For quote follow-ups, set the two reminder timings (defaults: 3 and 7 days).

These automations are part of the Pro plan's notifications feature — the 14-day free trial includes them. Customers need an email on file to receive them; SMS delivery is coming soon.

Owners and admins can open Settings → Email history, or Email history on a customer profile, to see recorded send attempts. Filter by status, email type, or recipient and open the related customer or record. Sent means the email provider accepted the message; it does not confirm inbox delivery or opens. Failed means the provider rejected it. Unconfirmed means no confirmed response was received, so check before retrying. History starts when this feature is released; older messages, skipped automations, and texts are not included.
